Built-in retractable hood will dramatically reduce unpleasant fumes coming from a standing alone built-in wall oven.

 

A traditional oven hood in many cases is located above the range or the cook-top, far away from cooking fumes coming from built-in wall cooking unit and therefore inefficient and ineffective.

Being installed right above the cooking unit (oven, microwave), the hood will pick up most of the air ejected from it. It is even more helpful when the door of the cooking unit is open.
